I am so excited that I can finally reveal the secret project I worked on a few months ago. My customised wedding scarf has been featured on the Boho Weddings website, and you can read the blog post, linked at the bottom of this post.
Like every scarf I make, this one is hand painted and the text is done by hand too, in gold paint. Click through the images and you’ll see the process behind the wearable art. The brief I was given by London Local Weddings for the photo shoot was ‘Botanical Industrial Wedding’ and the scarf features leaves in a deep green with metallic text, in keeping with their theme. S— is a good friend and also occasionally models for me, as you might have seen in my online shop and on instagram. She loves her satin fish scarf, and has styled it casually in this photograph, taken when out for a coffee with friends. I do love it when clients send me photographs.
You’ve read my previous blog post for London Local Team on how I make a custom order scarf… now read my take on how to wear a scarf all year round. I’ve featured a selection of makers whose work you will love and covet. Read the full post at the London Local Team Blog.

Pink is so often given a bad rep, and it really doesn’t have to be ‘only for blondes’ or for ‘girly girls’. Wear it in your own way, and it can create a fashion statement without turning you into a cliche.
Wear pink with panache! Make it casual chic by wearing the Arati Devasher pink Birdies scarf with black… polkadot trousers, a tank top, and a chunky cuff, topped off with sleek patent Oxfords. The pink lip accents the colour and means you’re wearing it – it’s not wearing you.
Zara vest top / Arati Devasher Birdies scarf / Zara polkadot trousers / Popmap.com oxford shoe / CumiDesigns on Etsy cuff bracelet / BH Cosmetics liquid lipstick
