I am so excited that I can finally reveal the secret project I worked on a few months ago. My customised wedding scarf has been featured on the Boho Weddings website, and you can read the blog post, linked at the bottom of this post.
Like every scarf I make, this one is hand painted and the text is done by hand too, in gold paint. Click through the images and you’ll see the process behind the wearable art. The brief I was given by London Local Weddings for the photo shoot was ‘Botanical Industrial Wedding’ and the scarf features leaves in a deep green with metallic text, in keeping with their theme. For more details of this particular scarf, click here.

Wimbledon is the event of the summer for tennis aficionados. Whites are de rigeur for the players here, and it’s pretty fashion forward to wear white as an onlooker too. Here’s an outfit that keeps you looking casual and chic with a jacket just in case it rains (it is England, after all).

When you’re invited to a formal event, be it a black tie dinner or a corporate event, it’s easy to just wear a little black dress. But when the little black dress is this delicate, feminine and unique, that’s a guarantee you’ll make an impact and be memorable as the most elegant lady in the room. Paired with a stunning statement pendant and gold accessories, it’s a knockout outfit.

It can be really depressing when you have an office job and need to decide what to wear to work on a Monday, especially in a job that requires you to wear ‘formal’ clothes. That doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish, or that you must wear one of those (in my opinion) hideous ‘women’s suits’. Dress simply in a black dress, tights and oxfords. Add simple jewellery that doesn’t make too much of a statement. Add a great looking leather bag. The final touch for a bit of colour and classic style is a scarf that goes well with your bag, and well manicured nails. Dressing well is going to make you feel great about having to start the work week after a fabulous weekend.

Ladies Day at Ascot is a day for extravagant hats and formal dress. Taking inspiration from the blue skies we hope to be blessed with on the day, here’s an outfit idea for that most special of outings. This could also be worn to a wedding as a guest or even by the mother of the bride (or groom).

Glastonbury, the ever popular five-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place near Pilton, Somerset, has been an annual pilgrimage for music-lovers since its inception in the 1970s. These days it’s the millennials who are attending, but style is always at the forefront. Here’s an outfit that hopes for sun, but prepares for rain, and celebrates the bohemian roots of the famous festival with denim and folk embroidery.

Grey seems to be the colour of the season but this Stella McCartney ‘sweatshirt’ is anything but bland. Pair with sleek accessories and a pop of colour at the neck and on the hand to complete the subtle elegance of the look

Thanking one’s mother for all she’s done for you over the years is always a good idea. It makes her feel cherished, and only strengthens the bond between mother and child even further.

P—’s wife S—commissioned this geometric blue and yellow tie as a birthday present a couple of years ago. She’s sent me this photograph saying he loves it and wears it often – and I am glad to see he styles it so well with a grey shirt and trousers.
